Since 2001, I've led photo workshops to help participants improve their photographic skills with instruction, critiques, and infield assistance. No matter what your skill and knowledge level is, from beginner to advanced photographer, my goal is to help bring you to a higher plateau of expertise. I will share over 40 years of experience with you to cover many photographic techniques and tips.
From the initial capture through some basics of image prep using photo editing, you will learn how to create outstanding images with a strong emphasis on composition.
If you're 50 or over, come join me through the Road Scholar (formerly Elderhostel) "Arizona Highways" Programs. Offered in the Fall through Spring, you'll stay at a hotel in the Phoenix area and have daily opportunities to photograph in the field with a large emphasis on classroom instruction & critiques. Shoot a sunset at a private ranch filled with the iconic Saguaro Cactus, and we'll also spend a morning at the Desert Botanical Garden. Then off to photograph the red rocks of Sedona. We'll end up our week at the Grand Canyon making grand vistas of this amazing park.
